Soofa technology is now in downtown Albany.

Passersby and riders on public transit can find real-time transit and community information on the new Soofa Signs. The central location near a popular transit stop allows CDTA to reach a wide and diverse audience with community updates on things like the city’s expanding bike share program.

This Sign pushes out CDTA news, updates, information, and employment opportunities and updates to their bus operators and other employees. Reaching a large and busy workforce is no easy feat, and email alone does not reach everyone. The CDTA team will leverage the Soofa Sign as a new platform to reach employees on site. The digital E-Ink screen features a customized header mirroring the company’s e-newsletter, the CDTA Express Newsfeed.

Easy maintenance and and solar power made Soofa Signs a perfect fit for Albany.

Solar power is important to CDTA—their bus stops are powered by panels on their roofs—making our wire and emission-free Signs a natural fit. The Signs can also weather Albany’s tough winters to remain beacons of information year round.
