Soofa Elevates Fan Engagement at The Premier Lacrosse League's 2024 Opening Weekend

In an exciting step towards merging technology, sustainability, and sports, Soofa Signs have now entered the event activation space, starting with the 2024 Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) Opening Weekend. Held at Bob Ford Field at Tom & Mary Casey Stadium on the University of Albany campus, two Soofa Signs marked a new era in fan engagement and communication.

The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) is a professional lacrosse league in the United States, founded in 2018 by Paul Rabil and his brother Mike Rabil. The league aims to elevate the sport of lacrosse through a new model of competition and viewer interaction.

 
 

Soofa Signs have primarily been utilized in urban settings, offering cities and advertisers a sustainable out-of-home (OOH) communication platform. However, the PLL event signifies Soofa's entry into the event space, showcasing the signs’ adaptable features and mobile options.

Throughout the weekend, Soofa Signs were strategically placed at key access points around the stadium, delivering important information to fans. From game schedules and way-finding maps, to team social media feeds and access to the PLL mobile app, the signs became an indispensable tool for attendees. Fans could also easily access team merchandise and purchase tickets for future games via unique QR codes displayed on the signs.
