Kiosk Digital Signage in Northern California Arrive in the City of Fair Oaks

After the installation of the first Soofa digital kiosks on the West Coast in Southern California earlier this year, we’ve expanded up north, with Soofa Signs arriving in Fair Oaks. The City is the first in the Sacramento metropolitan area to incorporate Soofa Signs into their smart city infrastructure. Fair Oaks has installed Soofa Signs in multiple public parks to give visitors and residents alike the information they need to navigate their beautiful city.

The Soofa Signs will play a key role in the growth and expansion of the Fair Oaks Recreation and Park District.

“As the Fair Oaks Recreation and Parks District continues to grow, evolve and improve, providing park visitors and residents with information about upcoming projects, improvements, events and programs is increasingly important. By adding Soofa Signs to our park infrastructure, we can quickly and easily communicate project updates, like the addition of new fields, parking areas, and community buildings, as well as news about upcoming events and programs to residents and visitors alike," said Mike Aho, District Administrator.

The Fair Oaks Soofa Signs will display community updates and support wayfinding efforts.

The information displayed on the screen will provide updates about upcoming projects, improvements, additional features, events, and community programming. This display works in tandem with Fair Oaks’ existing Bond Project, and will act as a broadcast for all Bond Project updates as well.

The vinyl wrap of this sign incorporates a map of the parks district and points out areas of interest such as the Community Clubhouse, Amphitheater, and Arts and Crafts Building. The Soofa Sign wrap is another great way to help communicate information and better support wayfinding.
