Eric Rollo Real Estate Team is a boutique team of five local Boston experts, offering a “refreshingly enjoyable” experience to clients buying or selling a home.

Hyperlocal marketing is key

Founder Eric Rollo explains that the team is all about “building a story brand.” Their office is focused not only on buying and selling real estate, but serving as a neighborhood resource, providing insider knowledge for people looking for a new home.

Meeting their customers where they are

Rollo is always on the lookout for new, innovative ways to embed the team in neighborhoods they work in. He explains, “We’re trying to meet our customers where they are.” Soofa Signs presented a unique opportunity to get in front the right audience in key neighborhoods.

Rollo’s campaigns focus on the trend-setter Boston neighborhoods Fenway and Seaport, where many new buyers have not yet established loyalties with real estate companies. They’re showcasing listings to the people who love these areas most.

Rather than highlighting themselves (the dominant trend in real-estate marketing), the agency chooses to put the properties front and center in their ads, delighting their clients listing featured properties as well as building owners.

“We're making the client the hero. That's the end goal of everything we do."

Pushing the technology

The team instantly updates their soofa content any time they have a new listing to promote. By adding QR codes to content, motivated passersby can instantly view a listing. Most recently, the team sponsored a soofa poll question to add additional brand engagement to their campaign, asking the neighborhoods what their favorite outdoor spot for a drink is.

“We thought about billboards or trash cans, but it wasn’t the right fit. Soofa is the best place for our listings to be to build our long-term brand.”
