In March 2023, BetMGM became the Boston Red Sox’s official sports betting partner, shortly after sports betting became legal in Massachusetts. Since BetMGM is already an established sports betting brand, they wanted to amplify their messages to a new market using OOH advertising. The overall goal of their campaign was to increase brand awareness to various demographics in and around the Boston area.
Solution
Not only did BetMGM advertise inside Fenway Park, but around the stadium as well. Results
As a result of their static campaign with Soofa, BetMGM obtained an estimated 5,942,403 total impressions over two months. The betting company seized their opportunity to reach Boston sports fans, specifically Red Sox fans, where they live, work, and play.
