Red Bull Partners with Soofa to Promote the 2022 Cliff Diving World Series in Boston
The Red Bull 2022 Cliff Diving World Series took Boston by storm this past June. Twenty-four accomplished divers took part in this extraordinary competition which requires athletes to combine free falling from 90 feet with astonishing acrobatics. The season opener took place in the heart of Boston at the Institute of Contemporary Art on June 4.
To promote the iconic event, Red Bull turned to Soofa for dynamic and interactive outdoor advertising.
Five impressive vinyl-wrapped Soofa Signs were utilized throughout the most heavily foot trafficked areas of the Seaport District. For a month leading up to the event, the out-of-home advertisements featured sketched images of the Boston skyline and the skilled cliff divers in action. On the day of the competition, crowds swarmed the Seaport area of Boston to attend the sold-out event.
The collection of Soofa Signs made a huge impact over the course of the campaign with 1,100,000 estimated impressions.
Judging not only by the metrics gained from the Soofa Signs in the four weeks leading up to the event but also by the huge turnout of locals and tourists to watch the world-class cliff divers, it’s clear that this Red Bull x Soofa partnership was highly successful in increasing brand and new release awareness of the event.
