Watch the Beta Blocks Launch

Earlier this year, Soofa was chosen as the first tech startup to be evaluated through the Beta Blocks process, developed with the City of Boston Mayor’s Office of New Urban Mechanics. Soofa is the neighborhood news feed that connects a community with screens everyone can see and anyone can use.

In partnership with the City of Boston Mayor's Office of New Urban Mechanics and the Emerson Engagement Lab, Soofa Signs have been deployed in diverse neighborhoods of Boston.

Working closely with local community members and numerous public and private sector stakeholders, the Beta Blocks team is gathering valuable public input on how the Soofa Signs will be most beneficial to the neighborhoods they are being tested in.
